Hello
my name is Laura Wilder. I've been in the travel industry
since 1983, and with Ellison Travel for the last 16 years
as Retail Sales Manager. I love to Cruise, and have been
very fortunate to have sailed with Princess, Holland America,
Carnival, Royal Caribbean, and Norwegian cruise lines.
In my opinion, there is no better vacation. If countless
gourmet restaurants, luxurious spa treatments, non-stop
activities, exotic ports of call are your idea of a dream
vacation a cruise will give you all that and more!
I
am a certified Adventure Travel Specialist, which is for
the young and the young at heart! Adventure travel generally
conjures up visions of climbing Kilimanjaro, Gorilla trekking
thru the jungle of Uganda, or bungee jumping off the Sydney
bridge. True, I can arrange all of that for you. However,
there is an emerging segment of the Adventure travel market
which is simply catering to the average person that is
no longer interested in sun worshipping on the beaches
of the Caribbean. More and more people are taking their
valued vacation time, and utlizing it to learn more about
the culture…the people of a particular region. Tours
and independent travel are equally popular. Adventure
tours can be as simple as walking through the country
roads of the Scottish highlands, or enjoying a local wine
tour in the south of France…with plenty of opportunity
for sampling!
For
those of us who have not yet "taken the plunge"
you may decide to create your Dream Wedding on an exotic
beach in Hawaii or the Caribbean, or in a lovely chapel
aboard a 5 star cruise ship. There is
a lot of legal paperwork to get in order, so take my advice
and do not attempt to do this on your own.
