Discover your dreams, whether it be a rail journey through the Rockies, the Indian Pacific Rail from Sydney to Adelaide, Australia, or some other exotic train ride. There are many ways to discover the beautiful countryside that wait to be explored. There are many different ways to travel by train. It could be independently with a Eurail pass, or an escorted tour with a local educated guide. These guides really understand the land through which you are travelling and recognize the importance of safety as well as excitement.

For the more spontaneous at heart you could give Adventure travel a try. Adventure travel means discovering the unexpected - so everyday would be a new adventure. Most companies rate their tours based on the level of adventure from easy to moderate to challenging to extreme.

My travel experiences include Antigua and Aruba where you can get a jeep safari and discover the diverse island. Jamaica is an amazing island with friendly and welcoming locals. In all 3 of these islands I saw a total of 25 different resorts, so chances are I have seen the one you are looking for. I also just returned from Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Wow, what an amazing beach and such great weather - a wonderful way to escape those winter BLAHS.

A vacation that surprises most is Seoul, South Korea. It's a long story how that came about, but glad I had the opportunity . A few years ago I also travelled independently through Greece and the Greek Islands which was a wonderful trip.

Another option would be to sail aboard one of the many cruise lines that are available. This way you don't limit yourself to seeing just one destination. On a 7 day cruise you will visit a minimum of 3 ports of call. Once off the ship you have many different options - explore the destination on your own or go on a guided excursion offered through the cruise line. Your options are endless while onboard as well - something everyone should experience and oh the food - treat yourself!!!
