Free the Children is an organization that believes
education provides the highest return of any social investment
in the developing world. Through the education component
of their Adopt a Village model, donors can help to build
schools and libraries, and purchase school furniture,
uniforms and basic school supplies. They can also contribute
to salaries, in-services, certification trainings and
on-site living accommodations for oversees educators.
Together, these projects create a holistic education model,
which empowers children and entire communities to break
the cycle of poverty for future generations. Ellison Travel
& Tours has joined Free The Children in their committed
to provide access to education for children worldwide
and is presenting building a school in Kenya
Stephen Lewis Foundation supports community-based
organizations that provide care to women who are ill and
struggling to survive HIV/AIDS in Africa; assist orphans
and other AIDS-affected children; reach heroic grandmothers
who almost single-handedly care for their orphan grandchildren;
and sustain associations of people living with HIV and
AIDS.
Town and Country Support Services is a leading
not for profit health care agency providing quality community
support services, supportive housing services in Huron
County and personal support/homemaking in Huron and Perth
Counties and surrounding areas.
SYTA Youth Foundation
Formed in 2000 the SYTA Youth Foundation provides
students/youth financial resources and programming through
travel experiences that impact the lives of tomorrow’s
global citizens
Ellison Travel & Tours Annual Charity Golf Classic
began in 1997 and over the past 12 years has raised $73,500
for charities noted below. This year our 13th annual tournament
date is Wednesday, June 24th, 2009 at Ironwood Golf Club
in Exeter. To join us for a fun-filled day of golfing
